Kate Martin Williams is a writer/owner at Bloomsday. She attended the University of Tennessee and earned a Master of Arts in English with a Creative Writing emphasis from the University of Tennessee. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Rice University. Her writing life has led her to bear witness to the stories of activists, survivors, visionaries, and the everyday people who make a difference by living engaged lives. She lives in Houston with three ridiculously lovely children, ridiculously supportive husband, and their dog, Abigail, who’s just plain ridiculous.

Jessica Cole is a writer/owner at Bloomsday and has been musing about place and identity for as long as she can remember. She graduated from Boston University with a degree in International Relations/French, and earned her M.A. in English at the University of California at Davis., where she took classes in the Nature and Culture program and received her M.A. in English. At the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, she wrote a novel for her doctoral dissertation, and has published articles, book chapters, short fiction, and Pushcart-nominated poems. She has taught writing at the college level in several cities, including as a writer-in-residence and visiting professor at the University of Graz, Austria and at several of the ProArts colleges in Boston, where she lives with her wonderful son.

Phuc Luu is Chief Creative Officer at Bloomsday. He came to Bloomsday by way of bumping into Kate Martin Williams in a coffee shop and renewing a friendship that also started in another coffee shop some ten years before. He fell into the book publishing business because of the joy of helping to bring a beautiful book into the world and seeing it on a bookstore shelf, and especially seeing someone take it from the shelf to register. He is a theologian and philosopher by trade, and the author of Jesus of the East, a narrative non-fiction/theology/memoir. At Bloomsday, Phuc has the infinite pleasure of working with two remarkable people in Kate and Jessica and producing the always irreverent F***ing Shakespeare podcast.
